During his years at the concervatory Elmer played in several bands. Red Heat is one worth to mention. Formed in 2009, the four musicians created an infectious mix of rock and funk; Van Halen and Prince. Winning several bandcompetions and playing at all festivals in their home region Red Heat had quite a reputation. In 2011 they released an EP which is not available online but still to order by sending an email to Elmer. Soon after the academy the band was disbanded.
